What: Cherokee Friday Farmer's Tailgate is located on Acquoni Road in downtown Cherokee. Local farmers and gardeners provide fresh local produce on a weekly basis. Look for organic and heirloom produce.

What: The Jackson County Farmers' Market is open from May - October, featuring only locally grown produce & products. Most of our growers use organic practices. We are open 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. on Saturdays on Railroad Ave (parallel to "Back St." or Mill St.) in downtown Sylva.

What: Local growers offer a wide variety of certified organic and conventional vegetables, fruits and herbs. Also available are plants, shrubs, daylilies, cut flowers and garden transplants. Vendors have honey, baked goods, jams, jellies, pickles, relish and handmade crafts.
