North Carolina Mountains Fishing

There are so many fishing opportunities around the North Carolina Smoky Mountains in Cherokee, Bryson City and around the Nantahala River and Lake Fontana or the premier fly fishing streams in the mountains. The Tuckaseigee River is regularly stocked with trout. The North Carolina Mountains offers fishermen numerous trout fishing experiences. The North Carolina Mountains streams have native brook, brown and rainbow trout due to the high elevations that maintain cool enough temperatures to support native brook trout.
