Above and Beyond is available for ski season in the NC mountains. Ski season begins early in November before Thanksgiving weekend if the weather is cold enough to make snow.

January, February and even March are perfect months for skiing, snow tubing and snowboarding in the NC Mountains. Cataloochee Ski Area closes on April 1. Plenty of good spring skiing in the North Carolina Mountains can be experienced at Cataloochee Ski Area in Maggie Valley.
