It’s a fact and the re-crafted Chevelle renderings have just been released to us to prove it. One could think that the recent resurrection of the re-imagined new Chevelle was already flawless, and fans of the era may even say it’s the greatest muscle car comeback yet.
So why mess with perfection? The maker of the modern Chevelle revamp, Trans Am Worldwide, wanted to pour even more second-gen Chevelle into their modernized masterpiece.

So we know, by now, yes, there is a new Chevelle, and it is currently being delivered, roaring onto modern roadways as the 70/SS. And while the 2024 version has left us drooling over the iconic remake, Trans Am Worldwide wanted more for their second-generation Chevelle rebirth – enter the 2025 Chevelle with refashioned components such as the revised bumper, relocated headlights, and a stouter profile.
After just over a year of production with the current model, we’ve had a lot of time to reflect on what we liked, what we would change, what the market feedback told us, and how we might take advantage of this knowledge. It’s a win for the market, a win for production, and, in our view, brings us closer to the original DNA of the 1970 Chevelle in the process.

Yes, we have already fallen in love with the 2024 70/SS and its modern-retro esthetic. So, what more is there to ask for in a new Chevelle? Continuing its foundation on the sixth-gen Chevy Camaro and GM's Alpha-platform, under the new Chevelle re-body, the 2025 model will wear a refresh on the:
- Front Bumper
- Headlights
- Rear Quarter Panels
- Body Lines
- Belt Line
- Wheel Wells
- Vinyl Hard Top (See Below)
I think the most notable change is going to be the front bumper where we have moved the driving lights up into the bumper itself, much like the original, Explained Warmack. We also moved the high point of the rear quarter forward about four inches, giving a more gentle slope to the rear, reminiscent of the original, and also put more volume above the body line and belt line.
Not finished with their magic yet, Trans Am Worldwide also added a slight lip on the wheel well. It gives us a polished metal trim option, like the original as well, added Warmack. But wait, there’s more.

Re-modifying exterior styling on the 2025 models didn’t impact the Chevelle reboot’s power plant options, and although Trans Am Worldwide has completely sold out of their limited run of 25 of the first exclusive 1,500 horsepower LS6/X Twin-Turbo 454 versions, four engines remained. Those options ranged from a base model to the supercharged 396 and a second limited offering of only 20 of the 427 Engine Package, which runs on E85 and 97 octane.
